Programmer and analyst Matthew Thompson has been working with Prometheus since 2013 on novel sonar classification algorithms and on robust image transmission with the Prometheus Orthonormal Set (PONS). He studies digital signal processing as an electrical engineering Ph.D. candidate and graduate research assistant at Auburn University and brings experience from internships at NSWC PCD and BBN Technologies. His current research interests additionally include time-frequency distributions and music signal processing.
