Richard Tolimieri is a Principal Scientist at Prometheus Inc. Dr. Tolimieri has held numerous positions in academia and industry, contributing to many fields, including signal processing, high performance computing, biophysics, image processing and computational electromagnetics. His contributions in these fields have been widely recognized by NSF, ONR, AFOSR, AFRL and DARPA for many years. His current research projects include development of matched filter algorithms for identification and computation of dielectric material invariants, application of time-frequency methods, and design of noncommutative group filters for image processing.
He is working on the identification of algebras as a digital computational framework for processing data in multi-sensor/multi-target scenarios. His current research interests include discrete Clifford algebras, time-frequency representations, and noncommutative group harmonic analysis.
